Residential complex Flußpferdhof

Große-Leege-Straße 60-82
13055 Berlin

The Residential complex is named after the two horse sculptures in the water basin by the sculptor Hans Mettel (1903-1966). Designed by the architects Paul Emmerich (1876-1958) and Paul Mebes (1872-1938), the residential rows with 883 apartments were built between 1932 and 1934 in the style of "Neues Bauen". Today, the residential buildings and the open spaces are registered as an independent garden monument in the Berlin monument list.
