Residential complex Mebes & Emmerich

Commissioned by the "Märkische Scholle Siedlungsgesellschaft mBh", Erwin Gutkind (1886-1968) carried out the project planning of the 450 residential units in Rummelsburger Straße in 1925. The angled U-shaped buildings enclose generous green spaces and courtyards. Jacobus Goettel (1886-?) was responsible for the redesign and implementation from 1928 to 1931 and realised the "Erlenhof", "Ulmenhof" and "Pappelhof" sections.
